Cornelia Parker, OBE, is known for her transformation of everyday objects in unexpected and often violent ways: exploding, shot, rearranged and reordered to surprise the viewer. This print is part of the series “Plant Shadows”, Parker’s most recent experiment in photography and printmaking.
Parker is represented in the collections of major institutions including Tate, London, British Council, London, Centre Pomidou, Paris, Fundacio La Caixa, Barcelona, MoMA, New York and Yale Center for British Art, Connecticut.
Recent solo exhibitions include the Serpentine Galleries, MoMA, MoMA PS1, Tate Britain, Whitechapel Gallery, the Met Roof Garden Commission and the Royal Academy of Arts in London. Most recently, Parker was the subject of a major survey at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Australia.
